About WOW China Goods
Who we are, how we choose products, and why we don't do fake reviews or paid rankings.
What this site is
WOW China Goods is an independent editorial project about the home and desk products that Chinese factories do unusually well — and the ones that are not worth importing.
We are not a marketplace. We do not hold inventory, ship orders, or handle returns. We research categories, compare specifications and seller history, and explain the trade-offs so you can make a better decision.
How we pick
1. Start with the job
A product is only good relative to a use case. A $12 chopper is excellent for garlic and terrible for dough. We define the job first, then judge the product against it.
2. Check the details
We look at materials, certifications, dimensions, seller history, review patterns, and the landed cost after shipping and duties. A product that is cheap until checkout is not cheap.
3. Name the trade-offs
Every recommendation has a cost: shipping time, return difficulty, certification risk, or a feature you give up. If we cannot explain who should not buy something, we have not finished the research.
What we don’t do
- No fake hands-on claims. If we have not physically tested a product, we do not say we did.
- No paid rankings. Sponsorships, when they exist, are labeled. They do not buy a place in a guide.
- No counterfeit promotion. We do not link to knockoff branded goods.
- No “best of” lists padded with products we would not buy.
Who’s behind it
WOW China Goods is an independent editorial project by Shengbo Technology, a technology company that builds consumer products. The site is run by a small editorial team with a long-standing interest in manufacturing, sourcing, and the gap between what a factory can make and what a shopper can confidently buy.
